The Colt Anaconda in .44 Remington Mag has an 8-inch barrel, six rounds in the cylinder and an overall length of 15 inches. It is built in stainless steel, with Hogue finger-grooved rubber grips and standard sights. The barrel carries a vent rib and a recessed target crown. The exposed hammer allows single-action fire as well as the double-action pull.

The long barrel gives a long sight radius for handgun hunting and target shooting, and the stainless build suits an owner who keeps the gun outdoors. The frame is drilled and tapped for compatible optics mounts, so a red dot or scope mount can be added for longer shots on the range. The Linear Leaf Spring action gives the double-action pull a smooth feel, and the ramp front sight with an adjustable rear sight allows point-of-impact correction.
